Using Smart guides

Use Maker's built-in Smart guides across every breakpoint to help align the elements of your story with precision.

Turning Off Smart Guides

By default, Smart Guides are turned ON on any new story. To turn off Smart guides, simply de-select the blue button from the document settings panel on the right.

Turning on Smart Guides

Select Smart guides from the document settings panel on the right side of the editor. When Smart guides are turned on, the button will turn blue and guide lines will appear in your story when moving elements.

Note : Smart guides do not work with keyboard controls. Instead, move the elements with your mouse/mousepad to generate the guide lines.
