# How can I control editing permissions

### Click on the Cog Wheel icon on the top right corner of the editor to open story settings.

### Click "Editing Permissions"

### Select "Lock all edits" to Disable all editing, including content and design

### Select "Lock design edits" for Design edits that are locked but all content remains editable.

### Once the setting has been selected for the editing permissions, select "Apply"

### Story authors and account admins will continue to have full editing access despite the editing permissions.
