# How to add Alt Text to Images

### By default, Maker auto-generates the Alt Text for each image, however, to edit the auto-generated Alt Text, select the image first.

### Next, edit the pre-filled Alt Text on the Image contextual panel on the right side of the editor.

### Tip! Alternatively, select the image and edit the name of the image in the layers panel on the left side of the editor.
