# Creating a Livestream

You can create a new Livestream story using one of our several Video Story templates or create a story from scratch.
Using Templates
If using templates, start by clicking on "New Video Story" on the Stories Manager. Once the editor opens, select "Video Story" in templates and browse the available templates. Once you selected the template, click on "Add" to insert the template in the editor.
Creating a Live Video Story from Scratch
T o design a Livestream story from scratch, click on "New Video Story" on the Stories Manager. Click on the blue + icon and add a video to the story. Close the window requesting the embed information. On the right side contextual panel, toggle ON Live Stream.
Note : If this is the first Livestream story you are creating, Maker will generate Live Stream details. If you've created Livesteams before, click on the "Reset Steam Key" to generate a new unique Livestream key associated with this story. This prevents the new Livestream video to show on any previous stories. Currently, only one active Livestream key is allowed per account.
W ith "Related Products" toggled ON, click on "Add Products" on the contextual panel on the right. The media panel on the left will open. Click on the product logo and search your product catalog and click "Add." If your product catalog is not integrated with Maker, add the products using their URL.
If you're using a template, replace the Product ID or add the new URL on the Product contextual panel and hit enter.
To Arrange the products, on the right side contextual panel, select the product, and a 4 pointed cursor will show. You may then drag and re-arrange the product up and down.
To Delete the product, click on the bin icon next to the product name.
Customizing a Product Card
O nce you've added the product card, selecting the card will display the contextual product card panel on the right side. To customize the product card you will use the tabs - Properties, Style, and Hover to make changes.
* Pro perties - To show the properties of the product you wish to display, toggle on/off the properties listed like image, title, description, price, size, color, button, etc.
* Style - To customize an attribute, first select the attribute. Then depending on the attribute selected, the corresponding customizable properties of that particular attribute will be exposed. Attributes that can be styled include card, image, title, description, price, sale price, availability, and button.
* Hover - To add a hover effect on the product card select the attribute and the corresponding hover effects.
C ustomizing Product Layout
Once you've added the "Related Products, you can customize the layout of these cards by using the "Grid" contextual panel on the right. A different grid type can be selected for each breakpoint. To change the product grid type for each breakpoint, use the dropdown menu and select one of the three: Fixed Product Grid, Fixed Product List, or Product Slider.
To re-order the product cards, drag the product card up or down on the contextual panel, and to delete, click on the trash icon on the contextual panel.
### Step 3: Get Stream Keys in Maker and Setup Live stream in the Encoder (Zoom example provided)
Follow the steps listed below to create the Livestream in Maker:
* With the video selected, click on Get Stream Key on the right side contextual panel.
* The modal with the Live Stream Details will appear. Maker allows one active stream key for the account. If a stream already exists for the account, the model will display the existing stream information with the stream key's name in the field "Event Name." By default, the Event Name is the same as the Story title, where the stream key was created. If you need to create a new stream key for the story, click on "Reset Steam Key." This will invalidate the older stream key and create a new stream key for the current story. If needed, you can edit the event name by clicking on the pencil icon next to the event name field.
Important: Update the story after you get the Stream Key.
Follow the steps for setting up your Livestream in Zoom:
* Sign in to the Zoom Web Portal and click on Meeting
* Click Schedule a New Webinar and fill in the information for the Webinar and click on Save. At the very bottom of the new meeting page, you should see the Livestreaming setting, then click the configure live stream settings link.
* From the editor, copy and enter the Stream URL (Ingest Server), Stream Key, and the Maker story URL (you can get the URL by clicking the eye icon for Preview) and click save.
If you are logged into Maker, you will see Maker's enhance bar appear on the site URL. If there is no current Maker content on this page, click on " + Existing Story". A modal will appear and you will be prompted to select a story from the Stories Manager. Select the correct story title and it will be added to the page .
If you are replacing an existing story on a page, click on Options > Story on this page > Remove Story > + Existing Story > select story til e.
The Livestream moderator can click on Presenter View to add/move products during a Livestream. Presenter mode can be accessed directly from the Livestream page on your site by clicking on the button "Presenter View" on the enhance bar.
Once in Presenter mode, the editor controls are replaced with the option "Add Products."
* Tagged - Lists products and the order in which they appear. As new products are added, they will appear on this list. You can drag the products up/down in the list to change the order on how they appear. For the edits to appear in Livestream, the presenter will need to select "Sync Edits."
* Bookmarked - This allows you to save time during the Livestream by shortlisting and saving products for possible use. Bookmarked products can be moved to the tagged products list by clicking on the tag icon on the product tile.
### Step 6: Stopping Livestream and Recording
Step 1- Stop Meeting in Zoom : Stop the Livestream first in Zoom. Go to your Zoom App or your Zoom Browser and click on the option "Stop Live Stream" or end the meeting.
Step 2- Post Event Recording - If Show Recording was toggled ON , then the video label will switch to "Previously Live," and the Livestream will be replaced with a recording of the session once the recording is processed. If Show Recording was toggled OFF , then the video label will switch to "Not Live." You have the option to show the video recording later by turning on the toggle at a later time.
