Alt Text

Alt text, also called "alt tags" and "alt descriptions" is the written description that appears in place of an image on a webpage if the image does not load on a user's screen or helps screen-reading tools describe images to visually impaired readers. This also allows search engines to crawl better and rank your website.

Maker auto-generates Alt text for each image uploaded by using the name of the image as the text. However, the auto-generated Alt Text can be edited either from the layers panel or by clicking the image and entering the contextual panel's details in the field Alt Text.
