# Nav events triggered In Google Analytics under Maker Nav Menu
To analyze Nav Menu's performance, we fire several events in your Google Analytics under "Smart Nav:menu." Here is a list of all the events:
1. maker smart nav:menu:open - this will be called once for every user session when they open the Nav Menu dropdown by hovering over the topbar on desktop and clicking an item in the hamburger menu on mobile.
2. maker smart nav:menu:link clicked - this will be called when any external link is clicked such as the link on topbar, sidebar or the "see all" link next to the category title.
